I created https://brecker.app and it stayed empty for quite a while but I’ve turned it in to a bit of a blog space to demonstrate some of the things I’ve learned on the way they typically have nothing to do with my networking day to day role.
For work I used to create and deliver user and data centre networks, typically Cisco hardware. I moved to do a bit more WiFi which I worked on for years as well as designing and delivering architectures and consumption patterns. Then I moved on to the internet gateways and had a global remit for engineering the product.
I then moved to work in Network Architecture and bring my experience to bring a different perspective.
But none of that is cloud, so I started to dabble in AWS and GCP cloud environments. My goal is to get my AWS Cloud Practitoner, Solution Architect and GCP Profressional Cloud Architect.
The other sites linked from this site will be all based on what I’ve learned, mainly serverless and using Cloud Build and Firebase.
